The Beauty of Flowers
I love Flowers, all the beautiful colors, shapes, textures and aromas. Flowers are God’s beautiful creation that offers much beauty to the earth’s landscaping, and some of our yards. All the wonderful colors bring life and happiness to all who envision them and appreciate their beauty. Each flower on its own bestows its unique and individual beauty, but when arrayed in a myriad beautiful arrangements they give off further beauty so pleasant to the eye and offering joy and happiness along with an inner peace of God’s love.
DIY Flower Crafting gives an inner peace and excitement in being part of such a beautiful creation. It also allows you to bring the beauty of flowers and floral arrangements inside into your home. Knowing that you did it yourself gives a great sense of pride in your accomplishment. The Floral arrangement to the right is one of my creations using silk flowers.
Flowers can be seen like people, there are so many different types and variations just as the personalities of different people. As well as the different variations there are also the ones that can only live and thrive in certain climates in different parts of the world. Flowers bring happiness to so many for almost every occasion. We use flowers for the most special times in our lives such as: Weddings, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Special Dates, or just to say “I Love You”. They are also used for sad occasions like Funerals, to set at the grave of a loved one. For some they serve as a way to say “I’m sorry” or “Forgive Me”
Floral Arrangements using DIY Flower Crafting
Some may say there is a science to arranging flowers but there really isn’t. DIY Flower Crafting is really simple. It may seem complex, but once you learn how to do it, it really is simple. I started making flower arrangements on my own without the help of anyone nor with books or videos. I used a vase I already had and just purchased some foam and the flowers that I liked the most and started arranging them in an even like pattern viewing it from four different angles.
Judging mostly by what looked good with the other. One thing you may want to keep in mind though is to make sure you use the flowers from the same season. You don’t want to mix spring flowers with winter flowers or fall flowers. They just don’t look right. The more you get into it the more you will learn, if you don’t know already. If you have an eye for these sort of things then you will know. For some it just comes naturally.
A Passion for Flowers
Flowers are my passion, I just love them. I have floral arrangements all over my house in every room, even the kitchen and bathrooms. Roses and Peonies are among my most favorites. As you can see to the left is another of my floral arrangements made of peonies crafted in a floor vase. I also love arts and crafts. so when I came across these videos, I felt it was a good idea to compile them to share with you for your enjoyment in creating them. Our First Presentation of Floral Embroidery
Simply Beautiful. This very delicate and pleasantly time consuming practice if for those who really love the art of flowers. The embroidery process takes a while to produce each flower petal and leaf. Once the embroidery is done it then must be individually cut out to be sewn onto the base material to create the actual lifelike flower. This is a very intricate and delicate process. But once finished as you can see in the video it looks so breathtakingly beautiful.
