My Favorite Bible Verses are shared with you because we are the light of the world. And the Bible is our spiritual instruction to live right. Praise God! Our Father, the eternal and precious LORD created us in his own image and likeness. Therefore, we are to be a mirrored reflection of Jesus Christ, who is God. It is written. As a true Follower of Jesus Christ, I am proud to have this opportunity to share my favorite bible verses with you.

Here are a few of My Favorite Bible Verses that Resonate with me…

Bible Verses

Here are a few of my Favorite Bible Verses from the King James Version (KJV) I would like to share with you. If you are also a True Follower of Jesus Christ, or would like to be, I believe you will enjoy these bible verses just as well. I truly love the Lord with all my heart, soul and all my might. I fully trust in him because his word is TRUE and never fails.

The Bible is the food for our souls, because soul food is the key of life. Gods love is unconditional and eternal. The Bible says that He is always with us and will never forsake us. His love knows no bounds. Therefore, I am truly honored and blessed to be called his child. I pray that these bible verses will be of help to you and be a light shined upon you.

John 1:1-5:

  1. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2. The same was in the beginning with God. 3. All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made. 4. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5. And the light shineth in darkness, and the darkness comprehended it not.

======================================

This is the most popular of the bible verses that almost everyone knows.

John 3:16-17:

16. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17. For God sent not his Son unto the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

======================================

This is one of the bible verses that indicate that there is only One God and the Holy Trinity reflects the three facets of God.

7. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. 8. And there are three that bear witness in earth: the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.

======================================

The Fruit of The Spirit is definitely one of the bible verses we should strive to be like.

22. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23. Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

======================================

If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Another one of the short bible verses that have a huge significance in its meaning.

======================================

Bible Verses

18. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he hath anointed me to preach to gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. 19. To preach the acceptable year of the LORD”.

======================================

Matthew 6:33:

Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

This is one of all the bible verses that is so plain and simple to do.

======================================

Isaiah 40:31

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings as eagles; they will run, and not be weary, and they shall walk and not faint.

This is one of the bible verses that remind us to have faith, patience and wait on the Lord. And those who wait will have their strength renewed and will be rewarded.

======================================

John 1:17:

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

This is one of the bible verses that explains that the law was not done away with but Jesus came to fulfill the law. So now we live by faith, trusting in Jesus, Our Lord.

======================================

Luke 24:47

And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

This is another of my favorite bible verses. It tells me that Jesus started in Jerusalem because he came first to Israel. That is the people Israel, not the land of Israel which many people think. When he is talking to Moses and telling him to tell the people of Israel, he was talking about the 12 Tribes of Israel that stemmed from Jacob. His covenant was with his people, beginning with Abraham to Isaac and then to Jacob, whose’ name was changed to Israel, and his twelve sons who each begot their own tribes. Hence the twelve tribes of Israel.

======================================

44. For I am the LORD your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall you defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 45. For I am the LORD that bringeth you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.

This is one of the bible verses that many should read and understand. He tells us exactly what we should do but many do not. He said to be Holy because He is Holy. He did not say be Baptist, Pentecostal Methodist, Non Denominational, or even Catholic, etc. He said to be HOLY. You will not find these denominations in the Bible or in any of the bible verses. Because they are of the devil, created to cause chaos and confusion amongst the church.

======================================

Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Many people today feel that they do not have to be baptized. However, we still do. This is one of the bible verses that tells us just that. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. And the same is for his word.

======================================

2 Chronicles 7:14:

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek thy face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

This is one of the bible verses that we all should seriously take heed to. The meaning is deep and powerful, if you would just read it and acknowledge him and who his people are he is referring to then things will be so much better for us as a whole. And what I mean is “The Church” his Chosen.

======================================

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

This is one of my favorite bible verses because when I read this, it answered my question that was in my mind for years. “How do you serve the Lord?” When I read this, I was so relieved because it is so simple. He doesn’t ask for much. But He gave so much.

======================================

Psalm 23:

1. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3. He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. 4. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

5. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of thine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

This is one of the bible verses I learned as a little girl. It has helped me through some pretty rough and scary times in my life.

======================================

Psalm 91:1-7:

Bible Verses

1. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge , and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. 3. Surely he shall deliver the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. 5. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day. 6. Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. 7. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand ; but it shall not come nigh thee.

This is one of the bible verses that tells us the Lord is always with us and we have his divine protection always because we are his children and he is always there to protect us, even when we don’t deserve it.

8. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. 9. Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation. 10. There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. 11. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.

13. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. 14. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. 15. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. 16. With long life will I satisfy him and shew him my salvation.

======================================

Psalm 119:105:

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.

Though this is one of the short bible verses it still holds a significant meaning, because the word, which is God’s word “The Bible” if we sincerely read it and keep it in our hearts, it will show us the way on our spiritual journey.

======================================

Psalm 121:

I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. 2. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. 3. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. 4. Behold, he that keepeth Is-ra-el shall neither slumber nor sleep. 5. The LORD is thy keeper, the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. 6. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 7. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. 8. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

======================================

Jeremiah 29:11-13:

11. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. 12. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. 13. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

This is another one of the bible verses we hear often. However, people do not truly believe it. They do not understand that God puts us through trials and tribulations. This is what he refers to as putting us through the fire to refine our characters to make us the best versions of ourselves. This is a test of our faith.

======================================

Isaiah 26:3:

Thou will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

======================================

Proverbs 3:5-7:

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. 7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

This is one of my favorite bible verses because it is telling us to lean on Jesus and don’t try to figure things out on our own. Bring our problems and burdens to him and he will work them out and give us clarity and understanding.

======================================

Proverbs 4:4-7:

4. He taught me also, and said unto me; Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live. 5. Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. 6. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. 7. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting, get understanding.

======================================

Psalm 18:2-3:

2. The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my strength, in whom I will trust, my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. 3. I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

This is another of my favorite bible verses that speaks to me and tells me that Jesus is my rock. He is the rock of my salvation. I stand on the rock. He is my fortress because he is always with me and he sends his guardian angels to surround me and always protect me from harm and evil.

======================================

Psalm 68:1-10:

1. Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. 2. As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God. 3. Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our Salvation, Se-lah.

Psalm 68:20-28:

20. He that is our God is the God of salvation: and unto God the Lord belong the issues from death. 21. But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses. 22. Psalm 68:29-36:

Bible Verses

The seed also of his servants shall inherit it: and they that love his name shall dwell therein.

======================================

Psalm 139:14:

I will praise thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

Another of the great bible verses that tells us how much we are loved by our Lord because he made us with extreme great love and care.

====================================

37. Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, whither I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely: 38. And they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

In these bible verses are Seven Abominations The Lord Hates

16. These six things doth the Lord hate: yeah seven are an abomination unto him: 17. A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, 18. An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, 19. A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

This is one of the bible verses that tells us what the Lord hates. And these should be something to remember and Not Do. Why would we want to make the only one who has our backs angry with us?

======================================

13. If though turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, a holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: 14. Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

======================================

And Jesus, when he was baptized went up straightway out of the water: and lo, the heavens were opened up unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: 17. And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

======================================

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

This is one of the bible verses I love because it tells me that I am one of The Holy Family of the highest. We who love the Lord whom he has chosen are his Royal Family. He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

======================================

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

======================================

1. Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and everyone that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. 2. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

======================================

13. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

======================================

12. And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying, 13. Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you.

This is one of the bible verses that many overlook. He gave the commandment to Honor the Sabbath and Keep it Holy. This resonates so much with me because we have been tricked by the devil that the Sabbath is Sunday when it is actually Saturday. Although many know this they still go along with the majority or the world.

======================================

1. My son, keep my words, and lay up my commandments with thee. 2. Keep my commandments and live; and my law as the apple of thine eye.

This is one of the bible verses many find so difficult to do.
